In the highlight video of his drives, i noticed he attacks going left and finishes with his right hand. Unusual combo. Its also an awkward combo to bring the ball back (closer to the defender) to shoot it.
Very familiar with his college game. Asked to do much on Offense, but always a dog and hit clutch threes. A quirk i found interesting, he would frequently finish wide open and contested dunks with his left hand.
Matchup numbers are such small sample size, so not reliable. But I did watch his playoffs defensive possessions vs SGA and he had some success. I wrote in the article he is better than DJJ in absorbing the bump, or push off
Really good analysis here that paints a picture of how Naji might fit into the picture. While I was a huge fan of the DJJ dunks (and the Followill exclamations!) Naji may fit in better in the long run that DJJ did. On the whole, I like what we got for what we gave up (or gladly relinquished) to get to this current roster. Thanks again. These are fun during these dog days of summer

His ability to assist should not be overlooked, as he will likely play most with Luka/Kyrie and Gafford.
Agree. I think passing is another underestimated part of his game.

Thanks for this interesting comment Ben. Will watch out for this quirk
Excellent presentation. You really put in a lot of effort here. 10/10.
Thanks, and really appreciate the feedback!
Mavs will probably have to through OKC to win a title. I’ve heard Naji has been great on D vs Shai. Do you have any numbers on that matchup?
